Lil' Miss's mother has been one of our favorite dogs since we started raising Aussies again, and we feel that Lil' Miss and her pups carry on some of the best aspects of Mischief. In appearance, Lil' Miss is almost a mirror image of her dam, Mischief. She moves out well on her legs and turns on a dime. She is a little girl- right at 18 inches. However, she has lots of chest and bone without appearing bulky.
She also has a very similar working style to her dam. Lil' Miss keeps the animals nice and calm while being worked, and she may have the best sense of balance of any dog we own. She is also willing and able to do chute work. However, Lil' Miss doesn't have Mischief's stubborn streak. While she doesn't have a timid bone in her body when working angry cattle, she would never consider disobeying a clear, direct command, and she gets visibly upset if someone is angry with her.
Lil' Miss is an interesting combination of being the least likely dog to get in trouble from us because she so much wants to make everyone happy, but also being the most likely girl to get herself into trouble. You see Lil' Miss is our escape artist. You would never believe it if you met her. However, she routinely opens windows and doors, and climbs straight up 10 foot chainlink fences while still making you feel guilty for even thinking about keeping her safely locked away from trouble. As a final note, I think its worth pointing out that among our dogs we had the most requests for pups out of either Lil' Miss or her dam, Mischief, by either the same people who previously bought one of their pups or from people who met those pups. These dogs just have some special about them.
